BMW extends their Free Maintenance Offer to Certified Pre-Owned Car Owners
BMW has declared an extended free maintenance offer to certified pre-owned car owners for a limited period. It started on February 2, 2010 and will extend till March 31, 2010 and offers no-cost maintenance coverage on certain Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) cars by an additional two years or 50,000 miles.
Buyers can take advantage of this offer to avail of a warranty for six years or 100,000 miles from their original in-service date, that is after BMW´s four years or 50,000 miles of full maintenance coverage expires, they will get a complimentary two-year/50,000-mile upgrade, extending cost effective maintenance that will add to the life of the vehicle and peace of mind of the owner.
BMW has devised a maintenance plan that covers comprehensive coverage for normal wear and tear, such as brake repair, oil changes, clutch replacement which could cost a lot if not for the plan.
The offer is good only on 2007 BMW 3-Series, 5-Series, and 7-Series models. These BMW vehicles are priced a bit above $25,000, making it a considerably luxurious option to several new compact or mid-size sedans of this price segment.
On these selected vehicles, the extended coverage is an alternative to the discount 0.9-percent financing that is also being offered by BMW on most of its 2007 model year Certified Pre-Owned vehicles and a few 2008 models through BMW Financial Services.
